Hazel's Kitchen Food Truck is named in loving memory of my grandmother, Hazel Estelle Collins Boomer, the heart and foundation of my family.
It was founded in 1931, the year my grandmother was born...because everything begins with her. As the matriarch of our family, she laid the foundation of love, strength and tradition that made this food truck possible. While Hazel's Kitchen officially opened its service window in 2024, its story started generations ago. Without her there would be no me...and without me, there would be no Hazel's Kitchen Food Truck.
If you're from Belhaven, Terra Ceia, Pantego, or the surrounding areas and you knew my grandmother, then you already know one thing for sure ...she loved to eat, she loved good food and a good gathering full of laughter. Because of that Hazel's Kitchen proudly promotes her love for eating, gathering and enjoying good meals made with care by keeping her name alive. Every plate we serve carries her spirit, her joy, and the love she poured into everyone around her.
